This month of October eight countries from the Euro Paddle Pass community held a Benchmark Event and Core Group Meeting in Oldenburg, Germany.
The meeting was primarily focused on level 2 across disciplines. The idea was to examine the level 2 on the water, to find out what to look at and where to refine the standard description in order to fit all disciplines. After the water-session the coaches worked in different groups to improve the description of each personal and rescue skill. The new proposals for level 2 have been shared and are now being reviewed within all EPP countries – due for approval on the next Core Group Meeting.
Participating countries were: Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Ireland, Finland, Germany and Switzerland.
EPP Core Group Members, representing their respective Federations, will meet in March 2020 in Finland.
